Tip #4 - Managing your blood sugar aids in the prevention of developing lifestyle diseases and various medical conditions!
Tip #3 - Be mindful of the total carbohydrates you consume from foods. Total carbohydrates are inclusive of both the carbohydrate and sugar content of a food.
Foods high in total carbohydrates make our blood sugar levels spike and can become problematic if eaten often. Let's look at the total carbohydrates in some of our local fruits and treats as a reference point.
When looking at the numbers in the graphic below keep in mind that one serving of carbohydrates is 15g.
