A heartfelt 'THANK YOU' to all of our volunteers

This year you helped us to
- provide $141,000TT to the distance running community

- Commercialize the sport of distance running through our partnership with FlowSports

- Attract foreign competitors to our event (sport tourism). This year we had participants from Kenya, Guyana, Jamaica and Venezuela. ...Oh, and special shout out to Frenchie!

- Position the event to attract foreign sponsors for the various races, and athletes.

All of the late nights and early mornings were not in vain.

Yes! You made this possible for T&T!
Give yourselves a round of applause. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

We are forever grateful to all of you πŸ’™πŸ©΅πŸ’›

Rewarding our top athletes/ local talent.

There comes a point in every athlete's journey, from good to great, when they will need support i.e. mental, emotional and financial support.

One of the main goals of the WRA event is to push for the sport of distance running as a career in T&T and use sport as an economic generator for the athletes & country.

It has been our honor to move this from idea to reality and provide the top winners with their cheques.

Alex Ekesa - $25,000
Samantha Shukla - $25,000
Chantal Le Maitre - $18,000
Nicholas Romany - $17,000
Collin Pereira - $10,000
Zara Suite- Stewart - $10,000
Tafari Waldron -$6,000
Aniqah Bailey - $5,000
Donnell Francis - $4000
Wendy D'Arbasie -$4,000
Kelvin Johnson - $3,000
Clifton Sylvester - $3,000
Chennai Moore - $3000
Keiel Samuel -$2000

Some of these athletes are preparing for Carifta Games, Nacac Championships and the 2024 Olympic trials. These funds will help them on their journey, and you too, along with our sponsors, get to say that you made this possible.

Thank you.
