Editor’s Message

There is something in me that believes that we should always start the year right, and for me that means prioritizing time to take care of myself. In the Caribbean, now is always a good time to talk about fitness because after Christmas means the glam, glitz and the fetes, its Carnival.
But for others it may simply be a time to loose the extra weight from celebrating a real Caribbean Christmas and well start a fresh or turn a new leaf.
I have always been big on nutrition, but like everyone else sometimes my cheat day turns into a cheat week…lol. But I find that smoothies helps me get through those cravings and provides quick, easy, meals when I am on the go or really want to be disciplined.
If you love the gym like me, then you would probably be no stranger to all the “protein” hype and all the other stuff to get you lean. I don’t over complicate the “protein” issue, I just try to keep it simple, healthy, natural and it makes my life a little less complicated.
I also try to keep the gym a fun and happy place, it’s about progress, not perfection and I always remind myself that I am not a pro athlete, model, Kim K, I am Cherisse, a work from home mom, with a passion for Caribbean fashion, and in that I am comfortable. So even though, I go to the Gym 3 times a week, I do it for the discipline, for like Jada Pinkette Smith said, “Discipline is Self Love”.
My favourite people hung out with me in this Edition, all experts in their field, I am so happy that they spent the day with me teaching me about their favourite pre workout and post workout smoothies, simple full body workouts and well allowing me to interview them as usual.

Spin bikes are the worst people can get injured and management clearly don't care
the sin bikes r horrible one of my team mates got injured and the classes r getting smaller.... More and More bikes are being places to the front for decoration.... CUz management seem to not care but yet price of memebership is increasing.
