Who says the Minister can't bring his own game? πŸ€πŸ’ͺ🏽

The Honourable Roger Alexander, Member of Parliament for Tunapuna and Minister of Homeland Security, brought an extra dose of excitement to the Big Elite Basketball League Tournament at the Maloney Indoor Court when he traded his spot on the sidelines for some action on the basketball court!

Minister Alexander wasn't just there to cheer on the players β€” he stepped right into the game, played alongside them and wasn't afraid to work up a sweat!
πŸ”₯ His enthusiastic participation added to the excitement of the tournament, creating a memorable moment of camaraderie, laughter and friendly competition.

Held under the auspices of the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs, the tournament showcased basketball talent while highlighting the importance of sports in promoting teamwork, discipline, healthy lifestyles and community engagement.

πŸ‘πŸ½ It was more than just basketball β€” it was leadership in action, community connection and a shared love for the game!

This is a must watch!

In the final of the three-point shootout, Maloney starboys Tyrese Fields and Ahkeem β€˜Fato’ Boyd really went at it. Fields knocked down 14 points and when you thought that could not be beaten, Fato comes in and knocks down 16 πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯
