日照中心是什麼？日照中心又名老人日照中心，全名為日間照顧中心或日間照顧機構，主要是提供失能或失智的長輩社區照顧服務，是長照 2.0 中社區照顧的重要環節。

老人日照中心設立的目的，是希望透過發展多樣化的生活照護服務，讓長輩取得個別化的照顧，同時也尊重長輩們的自主性，促進長輩們的生活自立能力，延緩退化，而不只是被動的照顧。

日照中心的人力組成包含：照服員、社工，以及護理師。除了照服員需要專業的照顧訓練以外，社工與護理師皆必須擁有證照與並受過專業訓練，才能提供照護服務，除了社工、護理師、照服員外，日照中心
