Thank you for your participation and you all gave me the opportunity to learn more in my journey...!

Workshop on Back bend & Inversion Level - 1 and Yin Yoga - Foundation & Practice.

08/07/2020

Most of us live a really busy lifestyle. We work, we travel, we play. We’re active for most of the day, we spend a lot of time in motion, and we’re constantly stimulated by technology. Much of our modern lives (and much of modern yoga) are very yang — which means: much more on the active, solar, doing, moving side of things.

Yin yoga is the antidote to our yang-focused culture. It’s a slower moving practice that focuses on stretching the deep connective tissues in your body (ligaments, tendons, and fascia), rather than the muscle tissue.

It’s all about slowing down, giving your body a chance to restore, and getting deeper into not just your physical body but your emotional body as well. Yin yoga works with your meridians and deep connective tissue to clear blocked energy and stuck emotion.

A yoga teacher’s suggestion to invert has the power to elicit a range of emotions from students: fear, anxiety, aversion, rejection, excitement, butterflies — you fill in the blank.

Purposely turning ourselves upside-down is contrary to our physical nature, and yet the benefits of upending ourselves are many.

Just as yoga gently encourages us to move away from any unconscious habitual patterns, the invitation to invert is simply another way to shake things up, step out of a rut.

Our Workshop on Inversion & Back-bend Level 1
and Yin Yoga.

Date :- 19-07-2020
Time :- 9-12 & 2-5 pm.

Think of all the times you spend bending forward in a day. Whether you’re driving, eating at a table, typing at a computer, cleaning, or gardening, it is likely that you are spending a majority of your day in an unsupported forward bend.

Too much forward bending, and as a result, poor posture, can lead to:–
- back and neck pain
– restricted blood-flow to vital organs and glands (preventing them from working as they should)
– negative effects on self-esteem and mood.

The posterior part of your spinal column is compressed as you bend backwards, which helps push the disks in your vertebrae away from the spinal nerves, and decompresses the front of the vertebrae. As a result, the damage from forwarding bending (over time) can be reversed.
