On this International Women’s Day, my heart is filled with gratitude.
I sincerely thank Malayala Manorama for their report, which allows more people to see how a girl from Taiwan crossed cultures and languages to encounter the ancient arts of Kerala.
In 2009, I came to India with curiosity about the world and a deep longing for art.
At that time, I did not know where life would lead me — I only knew that I was drawn by something profound and mysterious.
In Kerala, I encountered the ancient performing arts of
Koodiyattam, Nangiar Koothu, Mohiniyattam, and Kerala mural painting.
These arts are not only dance or theatre; they are a form of spiritual practice.
Through years of learning, I slowly realized that art is a path leading inward.
It taught me patience, humility, and devotion.
It gave me strength during moments of loneliness and challenge.
And it helped me discover the direction I truly wished to follow.
To me, Kerala is like a diamond-shining paradise.
The culture and spirit of this land have nourished my soul and helped me find my future.
I am deeply grateful to my teachers, friends, and everyone who has supported me along the way.
Your love, trust, and encouragement made it possible for me to walk this path step by step.
If art is a river,
then Kerala is the source where that river began to flow.
In the future, I hope to carry the light and blessings I received here to many places in the world, allowing art to become a bridge connecting cultures and hearts.

Want to learn Chinese but don’t have Taiwanese friends to practice with?
Come join us! We create a relaxed and playful learning space where you can truly speak Chinese with confidence.
Led by an experienced Mandarin teacher, each class uses mini drama games, simple drawing, picture flashcards, and real-life scenes to help you learn naturally—no pressure, no heavy memorizing. You’ll practice with classmates, laugh together, and slowly feel that speaking Chinese becomes easier and more natural.
📅 Next Class: January 15th, 19:00–20:30
Each session includes plenty of review and repeated speaking practice, so the sentences stay in your memory and can be used in daily life right away!
