2024 TIGP ASN TEAM OVERALL CLASSIFICATION ( according to the SR Article 27)

Thrilling Competition at the Second Taipei International Gymkhana Prize:
The second Taipei International Gymkhana Prix (TIGP) concluded with flair on April 21st, drawing racers from sixteen countries across Europe and Asia to Taipei City's Ketagalan Boulevard. Over two days, competitors engaged in fierce battles across four auto-gymkhana categories, delivering intense thrills and surprises.
*Indonesian Dominance: Indonesian Team IMI Clinches Overall Championship
The Indonesian national team emerged as the standout performer, securing the overall championship with a stellar performance, including 1 gold, 1 silver, and 1 Iron. Their triumph was a testament to their skill and determination on the Gymkhana course. Korea claimed the second spot, with Slovakia closely following in third place, marking a successful campaign for Eastern European contenders.
*Asian and European Showdown: Diverse Winners in Male and Female Categories
In the Male Solo competition, Asian contenders dominated the top ranks, led by defending champion Adrian Septianto Utomo from Indonesia. The podium also featured players from South Korea, and Vietnam, showcasing the depth of talent in the region. Conversely, European drivers showcased their prowess in the Female Solo category, with Slovakia's Michaela Dorcikova seizing the title.
*Surprises and Close Calls: Exciting Matches and Unexpected Results
The competition witnessed several surprises and closely contested matches, keeping spectators on the edge of their seats. Notably, the emergence of Gymkhana drivers from countries like , Vietnam, and Kyrgyzstan added an exciting dimension to the event. However, traditional powerhouses like Japan faced unexpected setbacks, signaling a shift in dynamics within the sport.
*Future Directions: Insights into the Evolving Gymkhana Landscape
Looking ahead, the competition organizers CTMS and participating ASN expressed optimism for the future of Gymkhana sports. Discussions during the event emphasized the need to promote female participation and encourage international exchanges to foster growth and diversity within the sport. The success of TIGP serves as a stepping stone towards establishing it as a premier annual event in Auto Gymkhana on a global scale.
The 2024 TIGP may have concluded, but its impact reverberates through the Gymkhana community, signaling the dawn of a new era in the grassroots motorsport's evolution.

TIGP has 49 drivers from 16 countries, all of whom are the country's immediate choices. Every driver is a hero of TIGP, but we also have a group of professional and friendly behind-the-scenes heroes to make this event run smoothly. In addition, it also makes this event famous internationally! Thank you!
