In Taiwan, we don’t ask ‘How are you?’, we ask ‘Have you eaten?’ Have you heard of other terms like ‘bai bai’ and 二二八？ Explore the city like locals do - by bike! Escape the heat with us, have some local dishes, explore alleyways, temples, and our highway for cyclists and runners! As usual, we offer our traditional morning tours. Our guides have now also brewed something new for you - a tour of the North in the afternoon!

For the morning tour, you can cover local sights like Longshan Temple, Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall, Dihua Street, and more, starting the day right with some local breakfast favorites.

For the afternoon tour, we will visit Tianma Tea House Ruins to hear about the story of how 228 began, go to the Martyrs’ Shrine, and see a different changing of the guards. We also get to see one of the oldest districts and one that was voted to be one of the coolest in the world by magazine ! The afternoon tour won’t miss out on food of course, Taiwan is the best in filling our bellies after all, and we will find some local seasonal snacks together, depending on weather. Whether you have just arrived in Taipei and don’t know where to start, or are wrapping up your trip, we are excited to show and explore with you, book now!

Minivelos are very popular in Japan these days. Many people will recommend various bikes, but in Yang’s experience, what matters most is whether it is comfortable and convenient for you. And for her, are, it doesn’t mean it is the ideal bike for everyone, but very close.

For the shop’s last bikepacking trip, we headed out to wildcamp. We went through rough terrain, crossed a river, and the bike had to keep up with the whole group. Crossing the river proved to be easier with this bike because of its small tires and its lighter weight. Usually, small tires do not offer much reliability and stability - we were worried the bike couldn’t keep up with the group, but it performed just like a regular bike!

Plus, travelling with the bike and hopping on and off trains posed no issue with the railway system here because of its size, perfectly compact and easy!

Want to try it out? Come by the shop if you are curious! The bike comes with a front rack, you can just throw on whatever you want to bring with you and strap it on!Bring your toolkit and bags if you want to try out with your dream set-up.

Some changes to our opening hours in May. To book an appointment, please follow the youcanbook.me link in bio, or reach out to us via email! tours go ahead as usual, and you can still walk in on the days we are open by appointment between 3 and 4 pm!

• Pedal It! Beside the really cool custom made retro paint job for the show, lots of new and exciting things at the Trigon factory: New colors for the RC series, and a new gravel series - the GV! You can’t miss it! For starters, you can also test ride their demo AR-01 bike at our shop, the paint job is immaculate!

• Some exciting developments also at the Fara corner! Thanks for making the time to catch up and introducing us to their newest bikes in their fleet - the Road Element, the Gravel Explorer and the All-Road Element. You don’t think a bike can do it all? Well, they can! By using their most trusted components, and carefully selecting each piece down to the detail, it makes for a high end experience!

There is more! The other special thing about their bikes is that you can buy their own bike-packing gear so that you can bolt them on instead of scratching the frame with countless straps and for a more complete look!
