致 Andy Lewis, Sketchy Andy(1986–2026)

In memory of Andy Lewis, "Sketchy Andy" (1986–2026)
Every one of us at TSPT has been looking at this photo for a long while.
One person, one line, walking between two rock towers toward a rising full moon. No balance pole, no way back — just the wind, and pure focus. This is what slacklining is. And it's what Andy spent his whole life doing.
On June 14, Lewis passed away in a BASE jumping accident near Moab, Utah, at the age of 39. He was a four-time slackline world champion and a Guinness World Record holder — and the figure dancing on a highline during the 2012 Super Bowl halftime show. He showed the whole world what slacklining could be, and led many people to step onto the line because of him.
We never met Andy in person, but to TSPT he has always been a guiding spirit on this path — a reminder that the freedom found on the line is worth chasing, and that every time we step onto the webbing, it's an honest conversation with ourselves and with the present moment.
The person in this photo is walking toward the moon. We like to believe Andy is too — walking light, walking free.
Thank you for lighting the way. The rest of the path, we'll keep walking.
