We started the morning with an enjoyable laughter therapy session, helping our seniors begin the day in a positive and energetic mood. π
Following our stretching exercises, we combined strength training, aerobics, and walking drills, using resistance bands on the legs and dumbbells to engage both the upper and lower body. πͺπΆββοΈ
Al Haj Saleh Jacksi shared his experience of participating in these sessions and highlighted the many physical and mental health benefits they provide.

Once again, the morning started with stretching exercises, followed by mobility exercises. Members then enjoyed a walking workout combined with upper-body movements using dumbbells. The session concluded with seated abdominal exercises performed on chairs.
Al Haj Sajjad Jusab shared his experience of being part of these fitness sessions and spoke about the many benefits he has gained through regular participation. Alhamdulillah.

This morning, we kicked off with stretching exercises, followed by mobility exercises, and finished with strength training using resistance bands targeting the entire body.
Al Haj Sajjad Hussein from Zanzibar shared his experience, highlighting how just a few sessions have benefited him. He also encouraged other members to take part in these sessions and experience the benefits for themselves.

The KSIJ Dar es Salaam senior citizens had organized a weekend getaway on Saturday, 30th May, at the Seascape Hotel. As part of the program, a fitness session was scheduled for Sunday afternoon after prayers.
Hayaat Fitness Centre was invited to conduct an energetic and engaging workout session before lunch. During the session, members were guided on the benefits of regular exercise, including how it can help maintain good health, reduce the risk of illness, and support recovery from injuries.
The workout consisted of simple movements suitable for them. By the end of the session, the members felt more energetic, stronger, and certainly hungrier.
It was a wonderful, healthy, and enjoyable weekend spent together by the Wadilos. Alhamdulillah. πͺπ

What a fantastic way to start the day! The session began with plenty of laughter, followed by a fun and engaging exercise using balloons.
Members first worked on their breathing techniques by inflating the balloons. We worked some enjoyable activities, finishing with a balance-walking exercise while continuously tapping the balloon.
It was a fun-filled and energetic morning.πππͺ

Remember, consistency is the key to success!
This morningβs session focused on encouraging members to enjoy their workouts and not feel demotivated by pain. With consistency and gradual progress, the pain eventually reduces as the body grows stronger.
We carried out chair lifting exercises focusing on healing and strengthening the shoulders, back, and legs, and ended the session with balance walking exercises.
Alhamdulillah, another beneficial and energetic morning session.
