📢Today, MenEngage Tanzania, we conducted Annual General Meeting, bringing together our members, all dedicated to prevent and address gender-based violence, sexual abuse, sexual exploitation, and child abuse.

The meeting also elected a Steering Committee consisting of seven members, who will help drive forward our goals.

Men and boys, prioritizing your sexual&reproductive health is not only crucial for your own well-being but also for the well-being of those around you.

We are privileged to work in partnership with Sonke Gender Justice for over a decade. Today the visit aimed at strengthening collaboration and advancing men and boys agenda in promoting gender equality, health and human rights in Tanzania.

Children's Dignity Forum - CDF is the secretariat for the MenEngage Tanzania an umbrella network that brings together 32 civil society organizations that works to prevent and addresses gender-based violence while advocating for maternal health and reproductive health rights.

Kushirikisha wanaume na wavulana katika kupinga ukatili wa kijinsia, hasa kupitia vikundi vya kina baba, kuna matokeo chanya muhimu katika jamii. Hii inasaidia kubadili mitazamo na tabia, kwani wanaume wanapata uelewa kuhusu madhara ya ukatili na umuhimu wa kulinda haki za kijinsia, hivyo kuwa sehemu ya suluhisho badala ya tatizo.

Majadiliano ya wazi kati ya wanaume na wanawake yanaweza kuimarika, na hii inachangia kupunguza ukatili na kuhamasisha usawa katika jamii. Aidha, wanaume wanaweza kuwa viongozi bora katika kupambana na ukatili wa kijinsia, na kuchangia kujenga familia na jamii salama, huru na yenye usawa.

Kwa ujumla, kupitia vikundi vya kina baba, wanaume wanajengewa uwezo wa kutoa mchango mkubwa katika kuzuia na kutokomeza ukatili wa kijinsia, hivyo kuimarisha ustawi wa jamii nzima.

Kupitia mradi wa imetoa mafunzo kwa mabalozi wa afya ya Uzazi 20, kutoka katika Wilaya ya Monduli. Nia ni kuwawezesha vijana kufikia vijana wengine kwenye Jamii za kifugaji kwenye Maswala ya afya ya Uzazi,elimu ya ukatili wa kijinsia na uongozi bora ili kuwapa kipaumbele vijana na kuwahamasisha kushiriki katika masuala ya kijamii na Maendeleo.

Kumekua na ushirikishwaji wa watoto wa kiume ili wawe mabalozi kwenye Jamii na kushiriki katika kuhamasisha mabadiliko katika jamii.
