It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our beloved well wisher and the visionary who gave us the Evening Stars name, Mr. Riyaz Ahmed.

He was truly a selfless, kind hearted and remarkable person whose generosity and presence touched many lives. His contribution to our journey and identity will always remain a part of us. We have indeed lost someone special.

Let us keep him and his family in our sincere thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. May Allah grant him the highest place in Jannah and give his loved ones strength and patience.

What a moment for our Evening Stars family! We are beyond excited to announce that our team has emerged as the Champions of the East Africa Open Tournament held in Nairobi. This victory is a reflection of the hard work and unity that defines our squad. Every player stepped onto the court with heart, determination and hunger to win and together we made it happen. This victory belongs to every single member of the Evening Stars family who gave their all ❤️🏐

To our incredible fans, this victory is yours too. Your energy, support and belief in us kept us going through every set and every challenge. Seeing you cheer us on, whether from the stands or from afar, meant everything. You are truly the backbone of this team and we are grateful for each and every one of you.

We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to Nairobi Muslims and Sir Ali for putting together such a well-structured and competitive event. The professionalism, hospitality and effort that went into hosting this tournament did not go unnoticed and we are honored to have been a part of it.

While our TEAM UNITY and performance of each player on the field granted us the victory, the same unity got us two individual awards:
