Hello. This is Tuen's partner. Sorry he is no more. He passed on on 18th the same day we were discharged from hospital.

RIP TUEN MUNRO.

We are still counting down till the boot camp. We will have to postpone a few days as we were purposely poisoned by a man working at the Shoprite in Mzuzu. We are being released from hospital and will soon bring him to the police. I hope today to continue to provide valuable fitness and health tips leading to the start of our bootcamp.

Day 2 in our countdown is to start making some small dietary changes. These changes are not only for becoming slimmer and leaner, they are also for your quality of health and longevity in lifespan. The picture below shows a cross section of a piece of sausage and you can see how it is loaded and laden with fat. This is saturated fat. Saturated fat is hard fat that requires higher temperatures to melt into a liquid. Remember in our first post how we mentioned that fat is removed from the body through liquid? In order for that fat to be released, it has to break down or liquefy.Because saturated fat found in red meats, sausages, full cream milk, certain spreads like Blu Band (terrible), are solids, you will have to exert a lot more energy in melting them to be expelled from the body. So today, we will start on cutting down this fat. Polyunsaturates found in fish is already a liquid and is easier to get rid of. Though not conclusive, they can help in the separation and removal of saturates. The citrus found in lemons and oranges are great at "cutting" the saturates and breaking them into smaller particles. So lets substitute some of these things mentioned above for fitness success as well as overall good health.

Day 1 of our bootcamp countdown is water. Put an effort to drink at least 3 litres of water a day. You can reuse a 500ml water bottle and drink 6 of them a day. Water is very important for fat reduction and lean muscle mass production. There are three avenues that fat is removed from the body. One is sweat, two is breath, and three is through urine. All three of these require the minimum amount of water to efficiently remove and expel fat. This is a great first step to achieving your fitness goals. Water also helps in reducing cramps associated with muscle tightness and exhaustion.
