🏆⚽️ A Weekend of Unity, Friendship & Sporting Excellence! ⚽️🏆

From 29th–31st May 2026, Kilimeru Sports proudly travelled to Nairobi with a contingent of 34 participants to take part in the NJSC & SJYU Unity Friendly Tournament.

Our athletes competed across Football, Cricket, and Padel, representing our community with passion, discipline, and sportsmanship.

🥇 Football Champions – Team Kilimeru 786
🏆 Football Tournament MVP – Mohammed Lamin
⚽ Football Top Scorer – Azlaan Alnashir

Team 786 were crowned champions after an impressive 2-1 victory over Nairobi Tima Optics in the final, while Team 313 reached the semi-finals before bowing out to the eventual finalists.

🎾 In Padel, Abbas Shivji and Aliridha Dhirani led Team 1 to the Quarter Finals, while our other teams gained valuable experience competing against strong opposition.

🏏 Our cricket team enjoyed a friendly match against NJSC before joining players from Nairobi and Mombasa in an exciting IPL-style mixed cricket experience that truly embodied the spirit of unity and friendship.

A huge thank you to NJSC and SJYU for hosting a memorable event and to all our players, supporters, and organizers who made this trip a success.

4 Kilimeru boys proudly participated in the Bounce Pickleball Tournament held at the Bounce Warehouse on Sunday, 26th May.

Competing against older and more experienced players, the boys stepped onto the court with determination, passion, and a hunger to learn. Every match was a valuable experience and a big step forward in their journey.
