The first Kiev Pool Cup among disabled people with musculoskeletal disorders.
On April 23-24, 2004, the first open Pool Cup of Kiev (discipline "eight") among disabled people with musculoskeletal disorders (ODA) took place in the Bingo billiard club. The initiators of this sports and charity event were the National Federation of Sports Billiards of Ukraine (President Igor Vitalievich Masol) with the support of the Week-End company. Similar tournaments are regularly held all over the world and are very popular. Medals were awarded at the last European Pool Championship in Prague among wheelchair users. Ukrainians did not perform at this championship, but we will believe that in the near future we will be able to cheer for our compatriots at international competitions.

Autumn of billiards in Lugansk
Autumn is associated with billiard competitions among residents of industrial Lugansk. At the end of September, the Moscow Pyramid City championship was held, where Roman Kuzmin won. On October 10-11, the traditional, fifth in a row, open youth (under 18) tournament of the Lugansk region in billiard sports ("pyramid") took place at the Sokol regional sports billiards club. This year, thirty-four athletes from Lugansk, Kiev, Kharkiv, Mariupol, Dnepropetrovsk and Torez took part in the competitions. The company of thirty-three young men was made up of the only female participant, Anastasia Provorova, a fourteen-year-old from Kharkiv, who played very well and took a place in the middle of the standings.
