All worlds in Minecraft are randomly generated and have a certain degree of uniqueness. But some of them are superior to others due to truly rare phenomena. One such example is a lake, in the middle of which there is a lava cleft and a village.

Such a world was found by a team of Stardust Labs enthusiasts. She specializes in the study of Minecraft and recently discovered an interesting pattern. Locations in the game are generated within the "strangeness" scale. An indicator from -1.2 to 1.2 is considered normal. If the system creates a world outside the standard, then there are unique elements.

Stardust Labs has found that at 1.85 "strangeness" the lake can appear well below the standard level. Then a small cleft will be generated in the middle of it, which leads underground - straight to the lava flows. The chance of such an anomaly occurring is 1 in 5 million cases.

Markus Persson released the first version of the project back in 2009. Listening to player feedback, the developer improved Minecraft by adding more and more new mechanics to it.

As of mid-2020, Minecraft has sold 200 million copies, making it the best-selling game in history. Now the project can be downloaded on PC, consoles and smartphones.
