The first of Alex Amoroso's two stocks is finished.

It's our 5-7 model in Turkish walnut with purple epoxy. The trigger guard is one we make ourselves, and the varnish is done here in the workshop, so every part of this stock passed through our hands.

Honestly, stocks like this deserve a separate competition just for the looks. But they're built to shoot, and that's the part we're most looking forward to: seeing it at work and seeing how Alex's final setup comes together.

Hello friends! Today is a very special day for me, my son Arthur has his birthday. 🎂

Many of you know him as the European F-Class champion, the Ukrainian F-Class champion and a gold medalist at the 2017 World Championships in Canada. For me he is first of all my son, and I'm proud of him for the medals and for the person he is.

Arthur, I wish you the strongest health, every summit you set your eyes on, and success in everything you do. Whatever you take on, I'm always on your side.

Three woods in this one, each chosen for a different job.

The body is padauk, the pale line is maple, and the dark strip running down the centre is wenge. Padauk and wenge are among the most prized woods in the world, and both travel a long way before they reach our bench. The wenge is placed in the centre deliberately. That is the core of the piece, and it carries the load that keeps everything straight.

Nothing is glued until every board has been measured and the combination worked out. Once it is under pressure, it waits, and that stage cannot be shortened. Much like a good wh***ey, the wood needs its time before it comes up to full strength.

Only then is it cut. Every measurement is taken so material is removed where it does nothing and left where it is working. That is how the piece ends up light in the hand without giving up strength in the places that carry it.

The butt end is finished with an aluminium spacer and pad, and the underside is striped the full length.

Hello guys! Here's the one we finished this week.

This one is wenge. You can see it right through the butt and the grip, and honestly we keep stopping to look at it. Turn it over and there's a light stripe and an orange one running the full length — that side is our favourite, and photos don't do it justice. The orange is much warmer in real life.

We're happy with how the butt came out too, with the aluminium and the pad. It's all made by hand here, the way we've done it since 2018.

Hello friends! The New Zealand F-Open R***e Team sent us their Bisley report yesterday, and we're a bit proud today.

Silver in the International F-Open Team Match at the British Open, and 6th at the World Championships. Peter Kynoch captaining, Amy Hatcher managing, Craig Hunt on the team.

Amy wrote that the team has the highest praise for our stocks and the work behind them. From shooters at this level, that's the best thing we can hear.

It started as a small family workshop, and now people know us all over the world. We just hope every one of you is happy and proud of what we make. Thank you for your support, and for standing with us in these hard times.

Hello guys! Look at these bags. Honestly, every one of them is a little piece of art.

People often call our rear bags the best in the world. Those aren't our words. That's what top shooters from all over the world tell us, and what their match results keep showing.

For a small family workshop like ours, that's a real honor.

Red with yellow, grey with blue, green, black with red. We made every one by hand, and all of these already have their owners. The boxes in the last photo are already on their way.

Couldn't resist filming this one, guys.

The walnut on our 5-7 — we said the photos didn't do it justice, so here it is moving in the light. Wenge at the grip, a thin line of padauk along the edge, and the walnut doing the rest.
