A wonderful variety of rock rose with dull green leaves that turn pink in summer. Young leaves are green.

Michael Scaglione died in 1982 after smashing his golf club against a golf cart. The club's head broke off and impaled him in the throat, severing his jugular vein.

Since 1948, there have been a group of ladies named the Arlington Ladies who have attended every funeral at the Arlington National Cemetery to support and comfort families and sometimes they are the only ones who attend some funerals. So they ensure that no one is ever buried alone.

Anyone who removes Hawaiian rocks from the islands is said to be cursed. People send thousands of pounds of rock, sand, and shells back to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park every year, many with accounts of how the curse has ruined their lives.
