The Shea Tree Conservation Tournament is an annual football tournament organized by Shea Nut and Natural Oils Conservation Limited at the heart of Midigo Town Council, Yumbe District.
The main aims of this illustrious tourney is to sensitize the masses on the benefits derived from conserving the endangered Shea Tree species.
And also lay the platform for the young talented football players from this region to showcase their abundant football skills to the world.
Only sub-counties and partners that fall in the Shea belt such as Aringa North, Southern Moyo and Ludara in Koboko are eligible to participate in the tournament.
The 1st edition was held in December, 2022 at Midigo Primary School grounds.
