These two remarkable figures have not only led the way but have also nurtured and guided the finest players in East Africa's landlocked gem, Uganda.

The PDA, initially known as PDCAfrica, showcased its commitment to the sport by organizing 5 out of 11 series at the prestigious 291 Suites. A remarkable feature of this establishment is the presence of a hospitality management school, which further underscores Mr. Opio's dedication to all facets of the sport's growth. Kamal Sabuni firmly believes that the current generation of darts players and those to come will continue to flourish, guided by the unwavering determination of both Mr. Opio and Mr. Abim and their collaborators. The timely sponsorship from Uganda Breweries and Aquafina from Pepsi is testament how important the sport is.
