Uganda Cranes confirmed their place at next year’s African Nations Championship (CHAN) in fascinating style after dumping Tanzania.

The Cranes defeated Tanzania 3-0 in the return leg played on Saturday at St. Marys Stadium Kitende to advance 4-0 on aggregate.

The FIFA World Cup 2022™ will kick off with an even greater celebration for local and international fans as host country Qatar will now play Ecuador on Sunday, 20 November at 19:00 as part of a stand-alone event.

The opening match and ceremony of this year’s tournament at Al Bayt Stadium have been brought forward one day following a unanimous decision taken by the Bureau of the FIFA Council today.

Consequently, the encounter between Senegal and the Netherlands has been rescheduled from 13:00 to 19:00 on Monday, 21 November.

Muhammad Shaban back to KCCA FC for second time.
Shaban who is back at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo for his second stint from Onduparaka FC, has revealed the lack of trophies at the club in that given period has been worrying him.

Shaban first joined KCCA from his boyhood club Onduparaka in 2017 before he left for Moroccan side Raja Casablanca in 2018.

He returned to Uganda joining Vipers SC in 2019 and later went back home to Onduparaka in 2021 from where he has rejoined KCCA.
