Aquatic Academy Kampala Secures Top 5 Spot Again!
We're thrilled to announce that our incredible team has secured 5th place overall in the combined score at the 2025 Uganda Aquatics Club Swimming Championships! Out of 20 qualified clubs, we amassed an impressive 2109 points.
Outstanding Performances
Our male swimmers delivered an outstanding performance, finishing 8th in the best male team category. We're beaming with pride!
Our female team stole the show, taking 3rd place in the best female team category. Your hard work and dedication have truly paid off!
Special Recognition
A huge shout-out to Rahmah Nakasule for winning the trophy for 2nd best 15-16-year-old female swimmer in Uganda! Your perseverance and talent have earned you this well-deserved recognition.

Huge congratulations to Team Aquatic Academy Kampala on our remarkable achievement at the Rwanda Swimming Championships!
We're thrilled to have made a clean sweep of the competition, taking the overall male and female titles with an impressive margin of over 2000 points!
We're deeply grateful for the unwavering support of our parents, the tireless efforts of our coaches, and the outstanding performances of our talented athletes.
Most importantly, a huge thank you to our incredible swimmers for their remarkable performances! Your hard work, dedication, and passion for swimming have paid off, and we couldn't be prouder!

Kayemba's Tribute
We paused to remember and payed tribute to the vibrant life of Trevor Daniel Kayemba, also affectionately known to many as 'Mango.' A cherished member of the streaming community and a proud representative of Aquatic Academy Kampala, Kayemba made a significant impact on those around him.
His passion for swimming shone brightly and beyond his athletic achievements, Kayemba was known for his lively spirit, his down-to-earth nature, and the way he embraced his unique identity.
The aquatics fraternity, his friends, and all who knew him mourn the loss of such a promising young man. His contributions to the streaming world and his dedication to his sport will be fondly remembered.
Though his time with us was too short, the memories of Kayemba's enthusiasm and warm personality will undoubtedly live on. We extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and the Aquatic Academy Kampala family.

*Death announcement*
Aquatic Academy Kampala is deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved swimmer, Kayemba Daniel (21). He fought bravely against a blood clot, but unfortunately, he didn't make it. Our hearts go out to his family, friends, and teammates through the tough times.
The Academy will always remember Kayemba for his kind heart and friendly spirit. He was like a brother to everyone, and his team spirit inspired us all. In the pool, he was an incredible swimmer, showcasing an effortless yet powerful technique that left us all always wanting.
May his soul rest in peace for eternity.
