Yesterday, all games teachers, coaches, and other team officials at the National Boys Football Championship attended a mandatory safeguarding session.
The purpose of safeguarding is to promote the safety, protection, and well-being of all participants by creating a secure and supportive environment free from abuse, harassment, neglect, and exploitation.
The session was facilitated by Grace Viola Kyolaba, a safeguarding instructor and member of the USSSA Executive Committee, together with Reginah Nakibuule, a safeguarding instructor.
