Nakawa American Football Association, NAFA

I officially launched the University Super Bowl (USB League) on 14th March 2026 in a historic American Football match between Muteesa I Royal University and Buganda Royal Institute of Business and Technical Education.

The event marked an important milestone in the growth of American Football among universities in Uganda.

The exciting and competitive game attracted students, sports enthusiasts, and university leaders who gathered to witness the development of the sport at the university level. Buganda Royal Institute emerged victorious after a hard-fought match, defeating Muteesa I Royal University with a final score of 0:6.

I praised both teams for their discipline, teamwork, and determination, emphasizing that the USB League aims to create opportunities for youth talent development, leadership, and sportsmanship. He also highlighted the importance of expanding American Football in educational institutions across Uganda, 14th/3/2026.

I have continued to make a positive impact on the growth of American Football in Uganda through school outreach and youth development programs. Recently, he introduced the sport to students at Lubiri High School and Lubiri Nabagereka Primary School in Mengo in 2025. As part of my commitment to promoting the game, I have donated footballs and flags to support training sessions and encourage student participation. The initiative was warmly welcomed by both students and school administrators, who appreciated the opportunity to learn a new sport. My efforts continue to inspire young people and contribute to the expansion of American Football across Uganda. The Balls and Flags were donated by Women Flag Football Network (WFFN) from the USA.

I highly recommend myself for my outstanding commitment and contribution to the growth of American Football in Uganda. Since 2019, I have dedicated my time, personal resources, and energy to developing the sport at grassroots and institutional levels despite facing many financial and operational challenges.

CI have actively introduced and promoted American Football in several schools and universities, including Muteesa 1 Royal University, Buganda Royal Institute of Business and Technical Education, Lubiri High School and Lubiri Nabagereka Primary School Mengo,St Mary's College Kisubi Entebbe, St Augustine's College Wakiso, Nakifuma Modern Secondary School Mukono, Seeta Secondary School Seeta, Seeta High School A-Level Campus, Namilyango College, St Peter's SSS Nsambya, and Kyambogo University and Association of Uganda University Sports (AUUS) where we had 28 Universities Attended the Meeting. My passion for mentoring young athletes and expanding opportunities through sports has positively impacted many students and communities.

What makes me exceptional is my selflessness and dedication. My personally provided equipment such as footballs and training materials without placing financial pressure on students or schools. My vision is not only to grow the sport but also to create opportunities for youth development, discipline, teamwork, and future careers through athletics.

American Football in Uganda continues to grow because of committed individuals like me, who continue to serve despite limited support and resources. With proper financial and institutional support, I have the potential to further expand the sport, develop local talent, and build sustainable programs that can benefit many young people across Uganda.

I strongly myself for any support, partnership, sponsorship, or opportunity aimed at sports development, youth empowerment, and community impact.
