Story time. Someone recently asked me why I sharpen knives. I told them I do it to “take the edge off.” It was a joke, but it’s also true. Outside of Cajun Edge, I work a full time job handling severe injury and fatality auto insurance claims - both in and out of litigation. I’ve seen a lot over the years. Cajun Edge takes me out of it and gives me the chance to also be good at something using my hands. I got into sharpening originally because I am a knife enthusiast myself and enjoy sharp knives, just like many of you.

Cajun Edge is not just a job or a side gig for me, it’s a hobby and a passion. And that is why you can always feel confident leaving your knives with me. If it’s not perfect, it’s not done. That’s the Cajun Edge Difference.

As a way of saying thank you, all Acadiana area law enforcement personnel, firefighters, EMT’s and other first responders are eligible for 1 free sharpening per year for their duty blade of choice. If you know of a first responder that might benefit from this service, let them know about Cajun Edge. Doing good feels good. Stay sharp!
