We would like to congratulate Jake Agner, Landon Candler, Bowen Candler & Solomon Candler for taking 2nd place today in the SC Trooper Association’s shoot. Which was open to the public and held at the Palmetto Shooting Complex in Edgefield!

The Rocky Knoll Youth team held a meeting Sunday afternoon at the club house after a round of sporting clays to discuss the upcoming season. We have a few new members joining the team which is great to see as well as the returning members. We’re looking forward to another great season!

Just a reminder that tomorrow the Rocky Knoll youth team will be having a meeting to discuss the upcoming season at approximately 3 pm at the club house for anyone who’s interested. The current youth team members will be getting together to shoot a round of clays as well, gathering at 12:30 and going out to shoot at 1 pm. Hope to see many new faces!!

If you are interested in joining our team or learning about shooting sports please plan to attend the meeting scheduled for Sunday, September 13th at 3:00!

It’s with heavy hearts that we communicate the passing of Rocky Knoll Sporting Clays owner/member Bob Carwile. Bob passed away early Saturday morning. The sporting clays community has lost a great man, friend and true advocate for the shooting sports. Over the years Bob won many awards in sporting clays and was an avid hunter as well. He really loved crow hunting! Bob started Rocky Knoll with a small group of friends out of his love of the sport and spending time with friends. Bob will be missed but not forgotten and in true Bob Carwile fashion he has put things in place to ensure that Rocky Knoll Sporting Clays continues to operate for our members and future generations to come.
