To say, this year, racing wise has been an obvious disappointment… I write this out to let supporters and sponsors know, we are calling it a year. The summer has gone by a lot faster than anyone wanted, and for us, it’s gone by about as fast as the car sitting here. It’s been painful, but without its heart beat, there isnt a ton we could do. I want to thank everyone that’s put there name on the car, and I want to say I’m extremely sorry for not getting out there this year. We believe 2026 will be a much better year. So during the next agonizing months, we will do our best to do some updating, get some of the old used parts out and get some new healthy stuff in. Sorry again to everyone who was excited to see this Pile of Style on the track, but hurting the only motor we have, well… that’s how it goes sometimes.

Season 2 is not looking good for Summers Racing. Sunday we ventured to Watertown to see what we could do, we were excited (driver was super nervous) but we went out and made some laps. But like any story, there is always a bad moment… we ended up losing a bolt, blowing oil all over and then the car lost power and started chugging like it was out having beers at the lake. Got pulled to the trailer, thank god KBS Power was on sight, he looked at it and found the distributor was to blame. Picked up a new one, but as the bad luck follows us, it looks like there had been some derailment in the engine itself. That being said, we won’t be racing for a while. It may need some expensive parts, and it’ll have to just be something we slowly get fixed. I guess that’s the way it goes sometimes…

🏁 We’ve been pacing the shop, talking to our tires, and revving engines just for fun… but the wait is OVER.

We’re finally headed to Casino Speedway! 🎰💨

After weeks of chomping at the bit (and possibly losing a few bolts from excitement), it’s GO TIME in Watertown, SD this weekend!

Come for the dirt-slinging, stay for the adrenaline — or just show up to smell high-octane glory and concession stand race tacos. Either way, we want to see YOU there!

Can’t make it in person? Tune in and cheer us on from wherever you are. It’s race season, baby! 🔥🏎️

ITS FINALLY RACE DAY!!
Unfortunately, after some bent parts, being sick, and being crazy busy with work, we are sitting the opener out.😞😞
We will be back in action as soon as I get all the necessary parts fixed and straightened.
If you haven’t seen, we’ve got some AMAZING people behind us again this year!! I can’t thank all of them enough for helping us in our second year in this Pile of Style Midwest mod we got!! Our hopes are to finish a couple spots better in the standings and get a lot more seat time this season!

Tackle The Cure was founded in 2020 by Trey Bourelle while he was just a sophomore in high school. What began as a simple fundraiser during a football game has grown into a powerful movement that raises more and more each year.What makes this effort even more meaningful? The donations stay local. Instead of going to big corporations, the money goes directly to local families in need.
