Strongheart Martial Arts Academy- NSU Club's mission is to teach students the Korean Martial Art of Taekwondo & Kumdo. As well as to help develop physical, mental, and spiritual growth. We are dedicated to bringing the best martial arts education and certification to our students
Classes are open to anyone who is interested in participating as well as NSU students, alumni, and faculty & staff.. We meet upstairs in Dacotah hall gym Wednesdays 5:30 to 6:30 pm.
Our Taekwondo classes are designed to benefit our students physically, mentally, and to entertain. We have fun while we sweat and train!
We have also added Hapkido, the Korean martial art of street self defense. It is a complete form of self defense that is very popular with police and military hand to hand. Also newly added is Kumdo/Kumbop, the Korean martial art in the way of the sword.
