Legacy Golf Links is a Nicklaus Design, 18 Hole Championship golf course. We are excited to announce an opening for Spray Technician / Assistant Superintendent in Training.

This position will be responsible for chemical & fertilizer application, spray equipment calibration, and record keeping. Routine course setup and mowing, hand watering of greens, irrigation troubleshooting and repair, and any other assigned duties will also be required.
The ideal candidate will have a combination of formal education and golf course maintenance experience, a valid NC Pesticide license*, strong attention to detail, and a desire to move into a management position. The candidate will be a team leader during non-routine projects and improvements on the golf course. Once acclimated with company policies and procedures, as well as golf course condition expectations, the candidate will supervise a weekend team.

Work Schedule (with overtime available):
6:30-2:00 Monday - Thursday
6:30-12:00 Friday
6:30 - 10:30 Every third weekend (Sat & Sun)

Compensation range is $15-$20/Hour. $500 signing bonus available with experience. The company offers competitive benefits, golf privileges, and generous paid time off. One week of vacation, quarterly holidays, and sick leave will be provided at time of hiring. All industry memberships and training are paid for by the company.

*Pesticide license will need to be obtained within 6 months after hire if applicant is not currently licensed.
