Abilene Parks and Recreation

On Sunday, June 7, the Abilene Community Center will close at 3:00pm.

The concrete co****le boards that were donated through the Shane Olberding Memorial have been moved to Eisenhower Park! The rain has been great for the new grass! Bring your bags and play with your friends and family! Thank you again to Mike & Sarah Olberding and their family for this addition to our park!

Water exercise for tonight, June 4 has been cancelled

All games are cancelled for tonight June 4th in Abilene.

Shallow water exercise is also cancelled for the evening.

Lap swim and Deep water exercise are cancelled for tonight.

Since we are still in a lightning alert, the pool will plan to reopen for evening swim at 6:30pm, as long as weather has cleared.

Thank you for being patient during the lightning delay at the pool. The pool will open at 2:30!

T-Ball is cancelled for tonight. It looks like more weather could be coming into the area. We will reschedule games for the end of the season.

C/D games are still on as of right now.

Today, June 3, Lap Swim, Water Exercise classes are cancelled for today due to weather.

There might be some confusion as to when Jr Cowboy Tennis Camp is. If you are signed up for the tennis camp please note it will be from 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM starting tomorrow and going every Wednesday until June 24th. Please be sure your child has a racket. We will have extras available if needed. This will be held at the AHS tennis courts. Thank you!
