Hello, rodeo fans!

For those who don't know me yet, my name is Sarah Nemechek, and I am so incredibly honored to officially begin my journey as your 2026 Miss Wild Bill Hickok Rodeo Queen!

I will be hitting the rodeo trail soon to kick off the year! You can find me at the Flint Hills Rodeo in Strong City tomorrow, followed by the Wild Bill Barrel Bash in Abilene on Saturday, as well as the Wild Bill breakaway, and the Abilene FFA Breakaway and Team Roping on Sunday.

We are so excited to announce our Wild Bill Hickok Rodeo Queen is Miss Sarah Nemechek! Professional pictures and all the pageant pictures will be posted over the next couple of days. We had a great group of young women that competed today and we can’t thank them enough for coming out!

It’s a beautiful day for the Queens Contest! Horsemanship begins at 9 at the arena and then will be moved over to Sterl Hall for the rest of the contest. Open to the public so come join us!

Meet our Wild Bill Hickok Rodeo Queen Contestants! Join us on Sunday, May 3rd beginning at 9 am with the Horsemanship Contest. Once Horsemanship is complete, we will then move over to Sterl Hall for the rest of the competition. Open to the public so join us at the Wild Bill Hickok Rodeo Arena!
