IN THE COMMUNITY// Our Level 4, 5, and 6 dancers have been out and about the past couple weeks! We’ve had a blast helping demonstrate for the Washington County Public Library’s Music and Movement program and sharing what we’ve been working on with the residents at English Meadows!

At Southern Appalachian Dance Academy, we believe dance is about so much more than technique and performance — it’s about connection, kindness, and service. We work hard to teach our students the importance of giving back to the community that supports them, using their artistry to bring joy, encouragement, and creativity to others. Watching these dancers step into that role with such warmth and confidence has made us incredibly proud! Great work dancers!

MOMMY AND ME// We’ve had a blast lately with our new Mommy and Me Ballet classes! We’d love to see you and your little ones! Stop by this Friday at 11am to join us! 🩰👼

Our Mommy and Me Ballet classes is a sweet introduction to dance for little ones and their guardians. Together, you’ll explore basic ballet steps, creative movement, and playful music while building coordination, confidence, and connection. Perfect for 18 mo.- 2 y.o. who thrive with a caregiver by their side, this class is all about bonding, imagination, and discovering the joy of dance / No experience needed!!

THE GIRL AND THE RAVEN// This week our Level 6’s had the opportunity to perform with in ‘The Girl and the Raven’ at Mountain Mission School! We are so proud of their growth and hard work in serving our community through this production. Great work Level 6’s!
