God’s SnowAngels Samoyeds began officially when Sarah was born on March 5, 2005. The last earthly day for SnowAngels Samoyeds’ was the day Sarah’s granddaughter East passed on from this realm on April 11, 2022. The Girls
Sarah was responsible for joy that is immeasurable. She gave birth to one litter, all of whom went on to bring even more joy to this world. Sarah, daughter Flurry, and Flurrys’s daughter East changed me in ways that unfold every single day.
Sarah was the most resilient, optimistic, tolerant, and focused Samoyed I ever knew.

Flurry was the most selfless, strong being I’ve ever cared for.

East was the gentlest, most obedient, loving and sweetest being I ever had the honor of caring for.

The Boys
Abraham was a stoic, obedient, loyal, loving and funny boy who changed lives without even trying. He came into my life and not only mended a huge hole in my heart, he expanded its capacity. He was a wise boy.

Halo was my heart dog. He was ….perfection here on Earth. He took me places, helped me achieve things I never dreamed I could achieve, including realizing how deeply I could love….

A single wonderful memory….among millions.

A peaceful morning just sharing a few heartbeats with each other…enjoying the peace, gratitude that came with those moments in time…

Every day brings tears brought on by the deepest emptiness I’ve ever felt….knowing that I will never again see them look into my eyes with wonder and love, come joyfully when I call, or sigh deeply as my hand rubs their belly.

And then….just as I think I’m going to dwell in that self-indulgent self-pity for a few more minutes…I remember some of the greatest things all of the Samoyeds I’ve ever cared for have proved me:
- This life is limited by time. Don’t waste it on sadness.
- Use every moment to show honor to those who are worthy of it. It’s ok to ignore those who aren’t.
- Smile because it’s who you are.
- Enjoy your work; your caretaker always has something yummy in their right hand.
