The Holy Spirit Lady Spartans Basketball Team

Congratulations to Lauren Cella, who recently achieved several outstanding accomplishments:

Lauren reached the 1,000-point milestone in her high school career, finishing with an impressive 1,026 total points.

She was selected to participate in the Al Carino Girls All-Star Game, where she was also honored at the banquet with the South Jersey Invitational Scholarship Award.

That same weekend, at the Cape Atlantic League All-Star Game, Lauren competed in the Beth Hartman Memorial 3-Point Contest and went 22-for-30 from beyond the arc to win the girls division.

She capped off the performance by winning the overall contest against the boys’ champion as well, knocking down 11 of 15 three-point attempts.

Holy Spirit girls take down Absegami on senior night

Atlantic City girls beat rival on senior night at the Battle by the Bay Taison Parker scored 22 points to spark the Vikings to a 56-46 win over rival Holy Spirit on Friday night.

High school girls basketball: Wednesday scores. Lauren Cella leads Spirit to big win Holy Spirit 61, EHT 51: Lauren Cella scored 18 points and had five rebounds and two assists for Spirit.

Holy Spirit grad Sabrina Little scores career-high 18 in Immaculata win Immaculata University freshman Sabrina Little scored a career-high 18 points in the Mighty Macs' 90-61 win over Gwynedd Mercy on Saturday.

Saturday high school girls basketball scores and more Holy Spirit 58, Woodstown 37: Reilly Byrnes led Spirit with 16 points. Megan Kane grabbed eight rebounds for the winning Spartans.
