Sad to see tennis die at Northern. I was hoping someone would coach.

Well, I can't believe it is over. 16 years coaching at Northern for the boy's tennis team. I am going to miss it very much, but everyone knows what I mean when I say "it is time." It has been a great journey, have many memories. Good luck Northern tennis in the future !

I can't believe it is time. This will be my last match as a coach of the Northern Boy's Tennis team today. It has been a long, but great experience. We have had a lot of ups and downs, wins and loses, but most important the great friendships that were made. First as coach at Beall High School my Alma Mater, boys and girls tennis, then to Northern for 16 years. To George Lander and Linda Wengerd, I love you guys and together we had some of the best times together. It was an honor to coach all of the players over these many years. Believe it or not, I remember most all of you. And many have kept in touch over the years. Still good friends. I will miss coaching, its been part of my life for a very long time, but it is time to pass it to a new coach. I wish the Paul's luck on coaching the team next year, and I hope that tennis at Northern will continue. Coach Rick Kenney

Monday (4/13) - Mt. Ridge at home
Tuesday (4/14) - Southern away
Please let coach Bryan know if you are unable to compete in these matches
Friday (4/17) tennis regionals will be held at Baker Park in Frederick, MD

Win at singles for Shawn, win at 1st doubles for Ryan and Anthony and two very tough losses after great battles. And the best ball boy we had all season, thanks Tucker!
