Choctaw County Chargers Baseball

Congratulations to Lawson Stevens and Brennan Telano for being selected as All-Stars for the State Games of Mississippi.

This is one of the top all-star games for underclassmen across the state. They will represent Choctaw County Baseball well!

Good luck to senior Robby Curtis on competing one last time for Charger Baseball today at the NEMCABB All Star game!

Mississippi Coaches All-State Baseball Teams Here are the 2026 Mississippi High School Baseball Coaches All-State Teams for all MHSAA classes. These all-state teams are voted on by all coaches in the Mississippi Association of Coaches.

After continuing to monitor weather this morning, and out of an abundance of caution for everyone planning to try out, today’s tryouts will be postponed until further notice.

Anyone who didn’t get the opportunity to tryout will get to do so just at a later date.

Results from the initial tryouts will be posted in the front of the high school main office and the Ty Cobb Gymnasium by 3 PM today.

High School Chargers Baseball tryouts will be held May 20th at Charger Baseball Field from 3:30–5:00 PM.

This tryout is for all current 9th–11th graders not currently on the team. We will also have makeups available for anyone who miss this week’s Junior High tryouts.

Looking back on another successful season for The County!

This group fought through adversity, continued to grow, and helped push the standard forward for our program.

With this year’s run, the Chargers have now reached the Elite 8 three times in the last five seasons.

Tryouts are coming up quick for the JH Chargers Baseball Team!

All current JH players are required to tryout as well. You must have an updated physical to tryout.
