GREAT Charter today!! Thank You Brendan and Luke!
You can't get rid of me 😜 Thank you again for your donation! See you next year!
We chartered a boat from True Blue. They emailed us right away when we needed them. The boat was clean roomy and beautiful. Knowledgeable hands on with a sense of humor. Look no further book with True Blue LLC. Thank you from Strait Family.
Great morning reeling them in on True Blue! Those 20 pounders were fun to catch!
Wow, what a morning, caught a couple nice kings, some lakers and 1 cisco. . Be hard pressed to find a better charter. Thanks Brian and Luke!
Tatum, here is the link to Uncle Brian.
Thanks to Captain Brian and his son Luke for a great time on the water yesterday. We'll be back again. Great patience with kids and helping them out. Would suggest to anyone that wants to take the kids out for a great experience.
Hello, Captain. Thanks for all of the help. I hope to try the new rig tmorrow. God bless, Goliath63

Working my way north from the keys. I’m fishing lake moultrie in South Carolina today. Catching blue cats in 5’ of water on shad. They hit like a ton of bricks. See you all soon in Michigan and I’m ready to hit it hard this year.

Look who came down to the keys!!! Captain Sonny!!!! So happy to spend some time with this man who is like a brother to me. We’ve spent countless hours fishing along side each other throughout decades on the bay. A better man you just won’t find.

Chuck is making this look easy...these fish weigh 30 and 27lbs. He said, “Luke if I get these up you better take that picture fast!”
Great having you and your sons up again today.
That was the morning trip. Then the wind picked up out of the north and the fish scattered and Jeff on the evening trip wasn’t so lucky. I like what one of my buddies says, “some days chicken and some days feathers”. So true. Fishing is so unpredictable and all you can do is try your best and go where you’ve had success in the past. And sometimes it just doesn’t happen.
All in the day of a charter captain.
Long time clients in the morning and the Wind is supposed to lay down.

I wanted to be on this trip today with Bruce and the gang but sally and I had to be down state to watch the grand baby. Captain Luke and Logan did a great job though and it looks like they had some fun. Next year Bruce!

I always look forward to this trip every year. Joan and Jane and crew have been coming for over 20 years. Today was a beautiful morning and the fish were snapping. The big one is over 28lbs. We lost a few and had a great time catching up. Oh and Congratulations to Brian and Melissa On getting engaged!!!! I remember the first year you brought her fishing. See you guys next year.

A young man and his first salmon. Our good friend Gary had a birthday and his son Ryan got him a charter and this is Ryan’s son with his first salmon and he got his first laker as well. Thanks Ryan for taking your son and father out fishing and making memories. Awesome
Morning.

Now Logan is in on the action as well with a quad and only three clients. Gonna be a good morning.

Captain Luke just sent some pics from the water right now. What a gorgeous morning and looks like the fish are biting.

One of the truly great things about my career has to be my clients. These gentlemen have been fishing with me for over 25 years! They have become like family. I look forward to their weekend fishing every year. I’ve been blessed with some of the best friends through this gig called charter fishing. Thank you all!!!

Just another beautiful fish on a perfect northern Michigan day for fishing. Captain Luke and Logan put the hurt to some big trout this morning and had a couple of salmon go as well.

Great fish to start a Monday with!
Luke and Logan getting it done today.
Thanks for bringing the family out today Don.

Nice king on the noon trip today and good trout action. The trips not over yet so hopefully more to come. Gorgeous day!

Nothing better than an east bay sunrise and triples to start your day.

Happy young man with a nice salmon today. Good trout bite this morning and a few smallmouth bass as well.

I’ve had the pleasure of watching this amazing young woman grow up. Her grandfather makes sure she goes fishing with us every summer. She’s a pro by now and she handled this monster trout no problem. Great to see you and your mother and brother again today and thanks, Bruce for making it a priority every year.

Another beautiful brown on the noon trip. Some gorgeous fish coming in. We have some openings for next week.
Just message or call us!

I love the color of this fish. Dandy fish. Thanks for coming out with us again Bill! Always a pleasure.

We have a new leader for biggest trout of the season! Teige was on our noon trip today and landed this 16lber! He and his friends landed some dandy trout today but this was the big one.
Great job!

We had John and Ryan out yesterday and today they sent me this pic of lake trout, and Wisconsin brats. Maybe he will share the recipe. This looks amazing.

People ask me everyday, “how’s the fishing”?

Kind of a gloomy cold morning but the fishing was hot at least. Thanks for coming Steve!

Captain Luke with a 14lb brown yesterday. Great fish.

Sarah...

Happening right now. It just doesn’t get any better than this.

When you’re fishing with captain Luke this summer ask him about his experience captaining the dive boat for the history channel’s show “the curse of civil war gold”.
You can catch the show Tuesday nights on the history channel.
He got to work with some amazing people.

Another awesome morning on the water. Lots of laker action, some small Salmon and a few steelhead showing up.

And here is the fish John was fighting in last pic. 14lbs even on the scale!
I’m going to keep track of our biggest fish this year. So far this is the biggest laker. Come on out and try and beat Johns fish. Great job captain Luke.

Perfect morning for fishing and the action is awesome. I love Traverse City!!!!

Lakers are hitting great and the weekend looks good for fishing.
Going to be a great year.

Heading home in a couple days and I’m going to miss sights like this. But super happy to be getting back to Traverse and start the work on the boat and get the 2019 season under way.

My grandson, Austin, on the water today. He loved the boat ride!

A nice picture from this week. Weather has been gorgeous and we had some calmer seas finally.

Kevin just sent me this from the water. Captain Luke with dinner.

Had some of my clients come down and fish with my buddy John and I this week. This was our first fish and before I could say anything they were in the water swimming with this Goliath grouper! What a cool pic, they swam with it and made sure it was good to go and watched it swim back to the depths. Caught lots of fish and had a ball. Thanks for making my week guys.

Good time last night. Thanks for getting the crew together Rod!

When the drag started screaming I knew it was a big one. 30 lbs. great fish Derek!!!!

It’s been a while since I’ve had a minute to post. This last couple of weeks had been nuts.
Anyways, Luke is out now and just sent me a great pic of a triple right now. Go get em guys!!

11th year fishing with us for Jane, Missy, Chuck,Joan, Brian and Melissa. I was able to stop down and snap a pic and enjoy their company. Luke did a super Job getting them into some fish today. The big one was 14.7lbs. That’s our biggest trout of the season. Thanks for all your years of support! Already booked in for next year. Thanks guys.

What an amazing fish!!! Just over 32lbs!!! Great job Cindy and Stewart

Epic battle. She got him. I had to post her fish as well. Great work guys!!!!

This one just in. Before the trip she said she always gets the smallest fish. I told her tonight would be her night. Congrats!!!

They just sent this one and I have to post this one as well. Another super pic and beautiful fish. Good job guys. Keep them coming.

Captain Luke is having fun tonight. Great crew from Boride out. Thanks for bringing the gang every year John!
This is such a nice picture.

Another day, another big fish and a very happy young man.
