Senior Sendoff 2026 💙🤺

Some traditions are harder than others.

Last night we celebrated Topher, James, and Jackson as they prepare for their next chapter. It was an evening filled with great food, laughter, stories, and a few tears as we reflected on the years they’ve spent at MFA and the impact they’ve had on our club.

One of the most emotional moments of the evening was Michael presenting Topher with the Carte Blanche Award. It was a fitting recognition of the outstanding young man he has become and the example he has set for everyone at MFA.

To Topher, James, and Jackson—thank you for everything you’ve given to Marx Fencing Academy. We’ve loved watching you grow, and we couldn’t be more proud of the young men you’ve become.

You’ll always have a home at MFA. ❤️ #

Looking through old Fencing & Fine Wine photos, we’re reminded of what has made these trips so special over the years.

Yes, there has been great fencing.

Yes, there has been incredible food, unforgettable wines, and beautiful places.

But what we remember most are the people.

The friendships formed over a week that somehow last a lifetime. The stories shared around a dinner table. The laughter after a long day of training. The familiar faces who return year after year, and the new friends who quickly become part of the tradition.

As we prepare for Tuscany 2026, we raise a glass to those who have been part of the journey.

To Bill, whose friendship, humor, and presence are deeply missed.

To Mark, wishing you strength, healing, and a full recovery.

To Karma, congratulations on your new apartment in Paris—may it be the start of many wonderful adventures.

And to all those returning to Tuscany this year, welcome back. We can’t wait to create another chapter together.
