❤️🔥 TRANSFORMATION STORY❤️🔥
Like most of us, I was invited by a friend to a 5:30a camp. After working out maybe once or twice in my 20s, I hadn’t stepped foot in a gym in almost 2 decades. At 41, I thought it was a good idea to try. 😂
After having 3 kids in 4.5 years and moving 1,000 miles away from home, family, and friends, I felt lost and was craving community. I desperately wanted to feel comfortable in my own skin.
My Burn journey began 3 years ago, and every year has looked so different.
Year 1 was about learning form, trying (and often failing 😂) to keep up, and obsessing over the numbers—scale, fat loss, muscle gain, macros. I was ALL about the numbers. I injured myself pretty good on a Terra Core at the end of that year and told myself I’d come back stronger.
Year 2 was all about consistency, camp count and my streak. I wanted that elusive 250 camp photoshoot and somehow made it to 299. That odd number still hurts my brain! 😂 My highest streak was 148 consecutive days (minus Sundays). I had to break it because I got sick, and I was MAD.
This year has been different—in the best way. My focus has shifted to listening to my body, showing up for my community, and leaning on the amazing friends I’ve made when I need support. Camp count? Still up there because discipline over motivation actually works. Camp streak? Who cares, don’t know her! 😂
I was also lucky enough to join the BBCA family on the other side of the desk as a BA. The family I’ve gained this year is unmatched. Watching members chase their goals truly makes my heart so happy.
As a mom of 3 young daughters who often come to the gym with me, it’s become so important to show them what strong looks like—and how FUN it can be. They ask me to show them different burpees, flex in the mirror, and tell me they want to be strong like me.
I show up for myself, and by doing that, I’m able to show up harder for them. Letting go of the numbers has given me a freedom in the gym I didn’t have before.
I still love pushing myself—just got a new pull-up PR: 8! LET’S GO! 💪🏼
Burn is so much more than a gym to me. It’s truly become my happy

Be proud of your effort. Be proud of your progress 💙
Not every week looks the same and that's okay. What matters is that you keep showing up and keep moving forward. That's worth celebrating.

NEW ROLE, SAME FAMILIAR FACE
You already know Ali, but you’re going to be seeing even more of her behind the scenes! 💙📸
Ali is officially stepping into the role of Regional Content Coordinator for our three Burn locations!
After serving as a Content Collaborator and helping capture so many of the moments that make Burn Burn, she’ll now be helping coordinate the content coming out of our gyms and making sure we’re capturing the people, energy and community we love so much.
We’re so excited to see Ali step into this next chapter! 💙
Help us congratulate her below! 👏
