One of my favorite parts of coaching clients is helping them achieve new levels of strength.

Sheila did just that today!

She deadlifted 225lbs for 6 reps with a nice and controlled 4 second eccentric. 💪

This didn’t just happen overnight though. She works her tail off in her workouts every time she comes in. When we started together over 2 years ago she struggled to squat even her bodyweight.

Couldn’t be more proud if I tried! Give it up for Sheila! 👏👏👏

Sheila smoked these deadlifts yesterday!

Her previous lifetime PR was 170 x 5 and she blew that away by making 180lbs for 8 reps look like nothing! She’ll blow that out of the water again when we strength test next month 😁

Sheila’s enjoying a well deserved retirement nowadays, but she’s a prime example that you CAN be strong at ANY age! 💪
