FROM THE COUCH TO THE STARTING LINE. 🔥🏃♀️
The Fireball Classic Memorial Race is Saturday, July 4, at Wintersmith Park, and Gym 210 is helping you get ready.
Our Couch to 5K plan begins Monday, June 15. Whether you run, walk or combine both, the goal is simple: start where you are, stay consistent and finish strong.
WEEK 1
Monday: 5-minute warm-up, then alternate 1 minute jogging and 2 minutes walking for 20 minutes
Wednesday: Repeat Monday’s workout
Friday: 5-minute warm-up, then alternate 90 seconds jogging and 2 minutes walking for 22 minutes
Weekend: Easy 20–30 minute walk or recovery
WEEK 2
Monday: Alternate 2 minutes jogging and 2 minutes walking for 24 minutes
Wednesday: Alternate 3 minutes jogging and 2 minutes walking for 25 minutes
Friday: Alternate 4 minutes jogging and 2 minutes walking for 24 minutes
Weekend: Easy walk, mobility or rest
RACE WEEK
Monday: Alternate 5 minutes jogging and 2 minutes walking for 25 minutes
Wednesday: Easy 15–20 minute run/walk
Thursday: Rest, hydrate and prepare
Saturday: FIREBALL CLASSIC 5K
Modify the intervals to match your current fitness level. Walk the entire program, add speed, use the treadmill or train outside. This is about forward movement, not perfection.

Make it work for YOU:
Weighted options:
Add dumbbells, kettlebells, barbell, cable machine, leg press, or plates to level it up.
Bodyweight options:
No equipment? No problem. Swap in air squats, bodyweight lunges, glute bridges, calf raises, dead bugs, planks, mountain climbers, and bicycle crunches.
Modify as needed:
Lower the weight. Slow the tempo. Cut the reps. Add rest. Focus on form first.
