Two eggs is thirteen grams of protein. Most women over 50 start their day there and never catch up.

Three additions, none of them a new meal. Half a cup of egg whites in the pan you already have out. Two more ounces of chicken in the same salad. A cup of lentils beside the salmon.

Seventy one grams becomes one hundred and twenty. Nothing weighed, nothing counted, no bigger appetite.

Every item here is dairy free and gluten free, because the foods that leave you bloated are not worth the protein.

Protein is what holds onto muscle while fat comes off, and muscle is the thing you fight hardest to keep after 50.

Start with the egg whites tomorrow morning.

Hard truth for women over 50: you keep thinking there is more time…

Winded on the stairs. Awake at 3am. Achy joints, a gut that has been off for months, a waistband getting tighter while nothing about how you eat has changed.

None of that is a verdict on you. All of it is information, and it gets louder every year the strategy stays the same.

The future is coming either way. It will rob you or reward you.

High Impact Fat Loss is the five phase process I use with women over 50 to strip fat while protecting the muscle that decides how the next twenty years feel.

I'm 63 and right now, I'm the leanest and strongest I have been in my life. And it has nothing to do with luck or a fast metabolism (don't I wish).

It comes down to a handful of things I do year round, whether it is January or the middle of summer.

Here are my six.👇

1. Protein at every meal. I aim for 1 gram per pound of my goal bodyweight and I build each meal around a protein first. It protects my muscle, keeps me full, and takes the guesswork out of eating.

2. I lift heavy three times a week. Not light little weights for endless reps. Real load that I add to over time. The muscle I have built is what keeps me lean, because more muscle means my body burns more even at rest.

3. I move every single day. I aim for 10 thousand steps and I do one short SPRINT session a week. I don't do planned 'cardio' sessions. Remaining in motion all day is the most underrated fat loss tool there is and it doesn't leave me exhausted and burnt out.

4. I do not diet all year. I eat at maintenance most of the year and only apply my multi-phased fat loss approach when I actually want to lean out. Under eating not only stall fat loss but it messes with your hormones, wrecks your metabolism and your sanity.

5. I manage my sleep. Seven to eight hours is not a luxury, it is part of the plan. Poor sleep raises the hormones that drive cravings and hold on to belly fat, and no amount of training outruns it.

6. I dropped the all or nothing thinking. One big dinner out or a weekend away is not a setback. I get right back to my normal the next meal. Consistency over months is what actually keeps me lean, not being perfect for a week.

My secret is no secret. It's consistentcy, in my 40s, my 50s and now into 60s. Being willing to listen to my body and adjust when necessary.

Curious to know if the method I used to drop the body fat last year will work for you? Comment HIFL and I'll share.👇

One of the hardest parts about gaining weight during menopause isn't the weight itself.

It's the loss of confidence that comes with it.

Because there was a time when you knew exactly what to do.

You'd tighten things up a little.

Be more mindful with food.

Exercise consistently.

And within a few weeks, you'd notice a difference.

Your clothes would fit better.

Your waist would feel smaller.

You felt in control.

Then menopause arrives...

And suddenly the same effort produces very different results.

Now you're left wondering:

"Am I eating too much?"

"Am I exercising enough?"

"Am I doing something wrong?"

After speaking with thousands of women over 50, I've noticed something.

The women struggling the most are rarely the least disciplined.

They're often the most disciplined.

They're doing all the things that used to work.

They're simply using strategies designed for a different stage of life.

That's an important difference.

Because if the problem isn't your effort...

Then maybe the solution isn't trying harder.

Maybe it's learning how your body responds now.

You’ve been told menopause weight gain is “just hormones”…

But nobody explained what’s actually happening inside your body.

When estrogen and progesterone begin to decline, your entire metabolic system takes a hit.

But hormones are only part of the story.

The deeper issue often starts inside your cells.

Your mitochondria are your body’s energy factories.

And during menopause?

They struggle.

Your body becomes worse at handling glucose, insulin signalling weakens, inflammation rises, and metabolism shifts toward fat storage instead of fat burning.

That’s why everything suddenly feels harder.

The fatigue.

The brain fog.

The stubborn weight gain.

The poor sleep.

The low motivation.

These aren’t random symptoms.

They’re signs your body is struggling to produce and use energy efficiently.

Which is why so many women say:

“I barely eat and still gain weight.”

Because the body you had at 35 is not processing fuel the same way at 55.

Your metabolism isn’t “slow.”

It’s inefficient.

And that’s a completely different problem.

This is exactly why inside High Impact Fat Loss we focus on improving the environment your body is operating in at the cellular level.

Building muscle.
Improving blood sugar stability.
Improving recovery.
Improving insulin response.

Because when the body starts functioning better…

Everything changes.

Energy changes.

Sleep changes.

Weight starts responding again.

And women finally start feeling like themselves again.
