🇺🇸Joshua passed his IST today!🇺🇸
His address has not populated yet but I should have it by Monday. If you are able to write to him PLEASE message me and I will give it to you. He can use all of the prayers and encouragement we can send! 🦅🌎⚓️

Joshua just left for his MEPS check in. Weighing in tomorrow morning.

UPDATE: We can confirm, at this time, that 11 Marines were killed in the line of duty at Hamid Karzai International Airport. This is an update to the information we provided yesterday.

We continue to mourn the loss of these Marines, and pray for their families. Our focus now is taking care of the families of those who were killed, and caring for the injured. The identities of those killed will be withheld until 24 hours after all next-of-kin notifications are complete.

Joshua has been accepted into the USMC delayed entry program and plans to ship out at the end of September. Meanwhile he has completed more firefighter training and is consistently pushing hard in the gym.
This spring he will be back to more running, working, volunteering, and spending more time at the Addison Volunteer Fire Department.

Joshua took his PICAT this morning in Uniontown where he scored very well and is heading to Pittsburgh this afternoon for his confirmation and staying overnight for his physical.
