MEET THE INCREDIBLE PEOPLE BEHIND ENCORE! ✨

At Encore Dance Studio, we are so proud of the talented instructors and office staff who make our studio such a special place! 💗 Our team is more than a group of dance teachers — we’re performers, educators, choreographers, mentors, and people who truly care about our dancers.

🌟 A TEAM FULL OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS!

🏆 Award-Winning Dancers: Our instructors bring experience from national dance championship teams, collegiate dance teams, competitive dance honors, and professional performance stages — including the Detroit Pistons NBA Dance Team!

🎭 Professional Training & Experience: From Broadway training and musical theatre to professional choreography, ballet academies, and performances with live orchestras, our team brings incredible artistry and expertise to the studio.

🎓 Educators & Mentors: Our staff includes accomplished college graduates, college professors, certified teachers, college dance team coaches, and professionals with advanced degrees in fields such as athletic training, education, and exercise science. They inspire dancers both inside and outside the studio!

💖 Community Leaders: From teaching and coaching to volunteering and community service, our team is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children and families throughout Lenawee County.

🌟 A SPECIAL SHOUT-OUT TO OUR OFFICE TEAM!

We’re especially proud of Kristina, named 2024–2025 Region 8 Teacher of the Year for Michigan, one of only 10 educators recognized statewide! Alongside Alena, an experienced special education leader and school psychologist, our office team helps keep Encore running smoothly and makes our studio feel like home.

And our director, Ashley Palmer, brings 30 years of studio ownership, international ballet teacher training, extensive dance education, and numerous studio and community honors to the Encore family.

✨ But what makes this team truly exceptional isn't just their impressive accomplishments. It's the passion, patience, encouragement, and heart they bring to our dancers every single day.

Hi friends! It’s me, Ashley. 🤍
As I celebrate my 30th year as Director of Encore Dance Studio, I find myself feeling incredibly grateful.
Thirty years is a long time, but when I look back, what I remember most isn’t the number of years — it’s the people. The dancers, the families who have supported them, the teachers and staff who have shared their time and talents, and everyone in our community who has encouraged, supported, and believed in Encore along the way.
Encore has never been just a dance studio to me. It has been a place where friendships are made, confidence grows, dreams are nurtured, and so many wonderful memories are created. I feel incredibly blessed to have been part of so many lives over the years.
To everyone who has been part of the Encore journey — thank you. Thank you for trusting us, supporting us, cheering us on, and helping make Encore what it is today.
With a very grateful heart, thank you for 30 amazing years. I appreciate you more than words can say. 🩰 Here’s to 30 more!
