Start Your Comeback Today! Carter Rehabilitation Centers have been providing rehabilitative services in Lenawee County for 30 years, with locations in Adrian and Tecumseh Michigan. Our facilities provide a diversity of services including Physical and Occupational therapy, along with Aquatic therapy. Each facility maintains an on-site therapeutic pool kept at approximately ninety-two degrees. One of the major benefits of aquatic therapy is the buoyancy of the water, which creates minimal stress on joints and muscles. The high water temperature allows the body to relax. This combination leads to increased range of motion and functional mobility as well as decreased pain and swelling. The ultimate goal of performing modalities and procedures, whether with a land based or water based treatment program, is to assist a patient with gaining strength, balance, coordination, endurance, and independence with daily activities.

These scholarships honor the legacies of Kelly Carter and Thomas Leffler, whose passion for rehabilitation and commitment to helping others continue to inspire future healthcare professionals.
