Hello all athletes and parents!!!!!

We are getting ready to start up the next round of training to get ready for our upcoming competition season! As always, all of the coaches are looking forward to seeing our returning athletes from past years but we are ALWAYS looking to add to our team even of you have zero lifting experience.

I am asking that all interested athletes and parents stop by the 413 Barbell Club located inside of NEXT Fitness, 470 Shoemaker Ln. Agawam, Ma. 01001 on Thursday January 26th between 7pm and 8:30pm to fill out forms and grab a packet with info on the coaches, athlete expectations, and events for the upcoming year!

Look forward to seeing you then!

Coach Mike

I hope you all are well and have had a good Winter so far. This week the Springfield Powerlifting Team is back. 👍
We will be having weekly practices at N.E.X.T. Fitness in Agawam on Thursdays from 7-8pm starting this week, Thursday March 3rd. We may add a second practice on Tuesdays but for now we will start with Thursdays. If any of you have a friend or someone you know who might be interested in joining our team please let me know. We would love to expand our team. We are especially looking for female athletes. The only restriction is that the athletes have to be over 16. There is almost no disability that our very talented coaching staff, under the direction of Coach Mike, can't accommodate.

As of April 1st 2021 a Communicable Disease Waiver MUST be completed by all registered athletes and volunteer/coaches.
A hard copy can be completed and returned or it can be done online. Please go to:

If you are not sure if your forms are up to date you can call Special Olympics Massachusetts at : 508-485-0986, ext 229 to speak with Matt Vaghi, director of business operations.

Coaches must also stay up to date on forms and courses required for coaching:

The really good news is that the Summer Games are once again on at the Harvard Athletic Complex in June. This year it will be a one day event. We will not be staying in the dorms. Date and schedule to follow.
