A familiar face is back to lead the program.

John Brown University has named former Golden Eagle standout Ryan Williams the eighth head coach in the history of its men’s soccer program, bringing a decorated alumnus and former professional back to Siloam Springs.

Williams starred for the Golden Eagles from 2015-18, earning SAC Offensive Player of the Year honors and finishing with 91 career points, before going on to play professionally with New Mexico United and later returning to JBU as an assistant coach.

Now he takes over a program coming off an NAIA Round of 16 run in 2025.
