Today is a bittersweet one as we say mahalo and aloha to our Assistant Golf Professional, Geoff. From starting with us as an outside Guest Service worker to working his way up the ranks, we’ve been lucky enough to witness his growth every step of the way.

Through the years, Geoff brought plenty of laughs, good times, and countless moments that helped make Pearl the place it is today. We’re incredibly proud of the journey he’s taken with us and even more excited to see where this next chapter takes him.

Thank you for everything, Geoff. We’ll miss having you around, but we know this isn’t goodbye — you’ll always have a home here at Pearl. 🤙🏽💙

The 2026 Pearl Junior Open brought together the next generation of golfers from across Hawaiʻi and beyond—including talented juniors who traveled from Japan—all chasing the same dream, one shot at a time.

For some, it was their first championship. For others, it was another step toward something even bigger. And for the Boys 15–18 and Girls 15–18 champions, that next step is an exemption into the American Jr Golf Association Hawaiʻi Junior Classic at Pearl at Kalauao.

Some goodbyes are harder than others.

After 5½ incredible years, we’re saying mahalo to our Head Golf Professional, Cyd. Through every tournament, lesson, event, and everyday interaction, you’ve helped shape not only our golf program, but the welcoming community that makes Pearl at Kalauao feel like home.

Your passion for the game, dedication to our guests, and steady leadership have left a lasting impact on our staff, our golfers, and everyone lucky enough to know you. While we’re sad to see you go, we’re incredibly grateful for the memories, friendships, and legacy you’ve created here.

As one chapter comes to a close, another begins. While Cyd leaves big shoes to fill, we’re excited to welcome Nicole as our new Head Golf Professional. We know she’ll continue building on the strong foundation that’s been created, and we can’t wait to see what’s ahead.

Thank you, Cyd, for an unforgettable 5½ years. You’ll always be part of the Pearl ʻohana, and we wish you nothing but happiness and success in your next adventure.
