Ride the rail will go on unless the day turns to downpours.
Forecast looks good with just a slight chance of a shower .

Ride the Rail is this Tomorrow ,Saturday! (Rain date Sunday.) Come enjoy a ride around the track. $50 horse/rider. $25 kids (with adult rider ). Staggered start. Noon until 3pm. Bring a coggins and have some fun!

Unfortunately, we are not able to hold Ride the Rail in 2021 due to the pandemic. We will, however, offer it in 2022! Please stay tuned!

Riders from the general public, horses enjoy Ride the Rail at the Aiken Training Track Champion thoroughbred racehorses such as Kelso, Swale, Pleasant Colony, Shuvee and Tom Fool have galloped and breezed over the Aiken Training Track.

Some info.
Enter at the gate at the end of Mead Ave. If you have a longer rig, you may just want to come down Mead.
If you have not pre-registered, no worries. You can do it there.Cash or check only please.
On the track: If you are going slow,please stay to the outside rail until you are on your last lap going down the front stretch. Then go to the inside rail. That is the cue to the photographer to get your picture as you near the finish line. After that, turn and walk back along the outside rail to the gate.
Most of all have fun and enjoy this historic track!

Have you ever wanted to ride on the Training Track? Where racing immortals like Kelso, Swale, Pleasant Colony, Tom Fool, Gallorette, Shuvee, and others trained?

On Sunday, February 23, 2020, from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm, you will have the opportunity. Ride alone or with friends. The cost is only $40 per horse/rider combination.
